Colby Johnson is a proud West Virginia native, hailing from Greenbrier County. Growing up in a small-town, country setting, Colby developed a deep passion for sports, which led him to play baseball at the University of Charleston. While there, he earned both a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in leadership.

Colby’s athletic experience fostered a desire to help others improve, which naturally transitioned into his professional life. After college, he sought out a career in insurance and joined Wade Walters’ State Farm Agency, where he gained 2.5 years of valuable industry experience as a Team Member. During this time, Colby learned what it truly means to be a State Farm agent, building a foundation of service and dedication to his customers.

Today, as the owner and agent of Colby Johnson State Farm Agency in St. Albans, WV, Colby is honored to serve his community. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, coaching youth baseball, and playing golf. His passion for giving back to the community is reflected in his commitment to helping customers protect what matters most.
